The DILG XI – Local Government Regional Resource Center (LGRRC) XI successfully conducted its Multi-Stakeholder’s Advisory Council (MSAC) FY 2025 1st Quarter Meeting on March 19, 2025, at the LGRRC Conference Room, DILG XI Regional Office, Matina, Davao City.
The meeting was presided over by Assistant Regional Director Charissa T. Guerta, CESO V, the LGRRC XI Manager, who led the discussion among LGRRC XI Committee members, including Provincial Directors, Cluster Heads, Division Chiefs , Assistant Division Chiefs, and Sub-Committee Heads.
13 Regional-Line Agency partners from the Department of Agriculture (DA), National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Office of Civil Defense (OCD), Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF), Philippine National Police (PNP), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Philippine Information Agency (PIA), and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) were in attendance during the meeting. Additionally, representative from the Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) was also present being one of the Local Resource Institute (LRI) partner of LGRRC XI.
The meeting focused on major discussions, including the presentation of the CY 2025 LGRRC XI Work and Financial Plan, the approval of the proposed MSAC XI Resolution expanding membership to other local governance partners, and the presentation of the CY 2024 Good Financial Housekeeping Passers and Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Regional Analytics. Updates on the CY 2024 Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) results and plans for the CY 2025 CFLGA were also presented.
The event reinforced the commitment of LGRRC XI and its partners to continue fostering good governance, inclusivity, and collaboration for sustainable local development in Region XI.
