Seminar-Workshop on Road Slope Protection and Flood Control Planning on August 5-8, 2025

The DILG XI, as an accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) provider recognized by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), through the Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU), conducted a blended Seminar-Workshop on Road Slope Protection and Flood Control Planning on August 5-8, 2025 at The Ritz Hotel at Garden Oases, Bo. Obrero, Davao City.

The activity aims to enhance the capability of the LGUs and DILG technical engineers to effectively design a project that can withstand, and be resilient whenever a disaster occurs. The participants did not only gain knowledge and understanding of project design considering the adverse impact of climate change and disaster, but also earned five (5) points under the CPD Program of the PRC.

The lineup of resource persons includes Dr. Allan E. Botuyan, a Civil Structural and Geotechnical Consultant and experts from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) XI, namely, Engr.
