The DILG Davao Oriental Provincial Office, through its Municipal Local Government Operations Offices and in partnership with the Municipal Governments of San Isidro, Lupon, and Banaybanay, officially launched their respective Local Governance Municipal Resource Centers (LGRMCs) on August 24, 2026.

This initiative strengthens knowledge management at the local level by providing dedicated platforms for capturing, documenting, organizing, sharing, and utilizing local governance knowledge, good practices, innovations, and lessons learned.

The three (3) LGMRCs form part of the knowledge-sharing network of the Local Governance Provincial Resource Center (LGPRC) of Davao Oriental, bringing valuable governance resources closer to local government officials, functionaries, and other stakeholders, and helping transform institutional knowledge into improved local governance.

“Knowledge properly managed is knowledge multiplied—and knowledge put into action creates better local governance.”
